Tickle Your Palate Exquisite Habanero Sauce, with a delectable hint of orange, was born in the midst of the COVID pandemic in April of 2020 on my family farm in southwestern Pennsylvania, which dates back to 1797. We then brought it back with us to Darien soon after.

I am Margie Manchester Pagliarulo, my husband Joe and I have lived in Darien for over 30 years and raised our family here. But my 5th great- grand parents, Isaac and Phebe Manchester were the founders of Manchester-Farms which is a living, breathing photograph. It’s a look back into the time when life was much simpler, when technology didn’t keep us “connected” 24 hours a day, when the more you put into your land, the more it gave back. Just as my ancestors had family dinners together every night, so do we. That’s when my sons, daughter-in-law and husband, Marcus, Dante, Meagen and Joe, commented on my Habanero sauce at our Darien table and how I should share it with others. A new journey then began to help preserve the ancestral farm.

I have developed a unique hot sauce that balances heat with flavor, unlike others that are more like a five-alarm chili sauce. Add it to your favorite foods and it will compliment them, not bury them in heat.
